The Sixth Swedish National Pension Fund (The Sixth AP Fund) is a long term investor in unlisted companies, partly indirectly through funds, partly through direct investment, together with financial and industrial partners, primarily in Sweden and other Nordic countries.
The Sixth AP Fund shall generate sustainable high returns and maintain satisfactory risk diversification by investment in the venture capital market.
The Sixth AP Fund received its mandate in 1996 and started with investment funds of SEK 10.4 billion.
